Most people who know of John Varvatos in Brazil is expected that the line of sneakers that the fashion designer has launched with the Converse All Star (see here), but this descendant of greeks born in Detroit and has worked in two major brands in the u.s., the Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein, to start 1999 the successful brand that bears his own name. Now Varvatos has its Flagship Store installed where you previously worked the CBGB’s, the famous club of rock from New York that released several bands, among them the Ramones, fathers of punk, proving the vein of contemporary rock fashion.
Recently Varvatos paraded in the fashion week in Milanpresenting his spring 2013 collection with the clothes that will be available for sale only at the beginning of the year. His creations gave a time the inspiration rock’n’roll, a recurring theme for years, and gave focus to the visual gangster of the 30’s, that is, comes the bad boy rocker and gets the bad boy out of the law.Taking advantage of the recent wave of dinner jackets double-breasted that are reminiscent of decades past and the wave of retro, Varvatos shows what you know tailoring (which is not little) by creating pieces well-cut, with interesting use of costumes 3 pieces with the buttons located in unusual places, either in vests or jackets. The accessories also deserve special mention, especially the scholarships.
